Coaching and mental health: sharing my story

Being honest and authentic has always been important to me; I'm open about my joys and open about my challenges. It might not feel easy to admit that life is at times messy, and it's taken me work and courage to let go of fear of judgment and embrace the power of vulnerability, but I'm so much happier now.

Coaching has, in many ways, been a strong catalyst for my own transformation; it has also proved to be a great resource for me to draw on in challenging times.

In this article I've opened up about my mental health and offered a perspective on the potential for coaching in times of crises and reinvention.

Very grateful to Animas, my training school, for the opportunity to share my story and to continue the conversation on mental health. Yes, it's ok to talk about it.
